Season One - tagaloguesComments Leave a comment - Please provide episode name and codename (if you have one) Season One | Season Two | Season Three | Season Four Back to SMK Main FanFic page GENERAL COMMENTS ukmary - I'm really glad you're back. You're only one of a very few people I know who can really write good fanfiction. You certainly do SMK justice. liketoknow - You certainly have down the Amanda-ramble. Nice job, Tiff. GearJamGranny - Tiff, fab as usual! You just really have the chemistry between them down pat! randibaby - Aww! Great Tiff! you got it down girl! Like the Amanda "unaffected" part! (not me!) abigfan - Yes! Glad to see he acknowledged that she had somehow "gotten under his skin". Very good! BillyBlueNote - Are you sure you're not really one of the original writers from the show? I know - You're undercover as a fan! dancingweasel - Good heavens, I've never read any tagalogues before, but without having any to compare them to, I thought it was outstanding! JustBrowsing - Hey, Tiff. Those are some great rambles! A+! Love the tripping bit, in his arms for such a brief minute...ohhh...I love the promise of the beginning... daizy680 - Ooh! I am so excited about having these all the way through. Great job! I am really looking forward to reading these again this time around. They are great! ScarecrowsAngel - You got them perfectly in character for this time in their beginning relationship. I just realized something that must have slipped my mind. I love Amandarambles! Great job, Tiff! 'Vette36 - Have I ever mentioned how this is one of my favorite tagalogues of yours? I just love it all with Amanda rambling, Lee thinking about her and her reaction to him as well as his to her ... so good! Nightcrawler - Awesome! Loved this: Billy must be crazy to even think about putting them together as partners! It would never work out. What could he possibly find with her that he couldn't find with any other partner? Hmm, we all know the answer to the question! ElioraJoy - That was great! Lee is so surprised that a "normal" woman can affect him. A good song for this would be: "I've got you under my skin." I only remember one other line: "I've got you deep in the heart of me." I think it was popular when my Mom was young. matahari2 - AMEN to what MusicBox said! You added terrific insights into their characters, and I tend to agree -- he had to be at least a little surprised that Amanda wasn't completely blown away by his charms -- hardly what he was accustomed to, eh? THANKS, Tiff! Keep at it! lena_hope - I thought that was a great tagalogue, Tiff! In fact, I just got the tape from CH and watched "The First Time" again, for probably the third time. I was reacquainting myself with the episode, and thought that your tagalogue would be a great way to finish it off. As usual it was. Thanks a bunch! hiyatoots - Thanks for continuing to post these tagalogues! Just thinking about the first episode makes me feel young like our two heroes! Both are so full of youth and promise. That electric chemistry is there. Thanks for showing it in your tagalogue. Amazing how Lee didn't notice it sooner than two years. How DID Amanda keep the knowledge to herself? MayBSleepy - Very nicely done! I wondered where you were going to go with these. I wasn't sure I could enjoy them as much as the S4 ones since it was obvious to most of us that there needed to be more on those. There's a less obvious need for more on these, but you've definitely added some satisfying moments here. I can imagine it as a missing scene. Your handle on the characters is what I really enjoy. And you manage to add just the right amount of expansion of the episode to make it satisfyingly complete without so much embelishment that it strays too far from the show. I love 'em! Oooh, I'm just imagining where you can go with the next one! lena_hope - Thanks, Tiff, for doing what you do and doing it oh, so well! Watching The First Time this weekend and reading your tagalogue really helped cheer me up. Not just from the thought of having to say goodbye to our favorite team, but from my hectic weekend. I loved seeing them again and I am very glad that you posted your tagalogue. Like I have stated all along, it's just not an episode of SMK without your tagalogue to follow! I definitely will visit your website to read your tagalogues over and over. Thanks for all of the hard work and dedication! I too am one for the Amandaramble, as if you couldn't tell. LOL! smkukfan - Well, Tiff, not sure if I'll do this on all of them this time around but I'll try now and again. Can't let this one be left without a comment. ROTFLOL! Little does Lee know what lies in store. I'm still hanging out at the train station - ready and waiting. Fully understand, Lee - it'll NEVER happen! She'll never be your partner! LOL! Oh, he noticed she cracked the case? I didn't know he noticed things like that. It's already getting a little warm in here. We'll all be in the hot tub in no time at all! Completely unaffected by Lee! How? A-ha! I wonder how this will all turn out. I hope they get to work together again, maybe on a regular basis. They may even grow to like each other. Do ya think it's possible? (grins) Thanks for all your tagalogues Tiff. Can't wait to go around again. MusicBox - LOVE IT! You've got them down so well. The first season rambles were perfect! I like how he noticed she wasn't affected. And the fact the she's far from ordinary. Awesome job, Tiff! And I'm so looking forward to the next tagalogue! (winks) It's going to be wonderful having 88 tagalogues! * * (sigh) There's just something about the *First Time* that is so sweet ... This just cracks me up! You can see it in his eyes in the TAG that he's just not registering all she's saying! LOL! He'll get used to it ... Unusual feeling ... is THAT what we're calling it now? Ok, whatever Amanda! LOL! Just you wait honey ... LOL! You've got them pegged right away! We all know it's *there*. I love that she's pretty much unaffected by him (although slightly perplexed ... does she need a session with Pfaff?) and that that fact intrigues him so much. (sigh) Now we have tension again. YAY! LOL! What could he possibly find with her that he couldn't find with any other partner? Shall we make ya a list, Big Fella? You already know I love it Tiff, but I can't help saying it again. Go to The First Time - Tagalogue
barnstormer - Holy mackerel! Okay, I'm impressed! liketoknow - Every one is right this was wonderful. You have a talent. Please keep it up (if you have time). Thanks. BillyBlueNote - Tiff, you should write for television -- Some of the shows out there could really use a talent like you! JustBrowsing - Hey, Tiff. Great tagalogue! Little does he know that yes, it is definitely going to become a habit! HeartPendant - Once again, great tagalogue! I was also wondering how you were going to do this...AWESOME! abigfan - I just love this! It was obvious by the episode that they were deciding their fates in this one and your writing only adds to it. lovesamk - I just love you tagalogues and I look forward to reading more of them. You do an awesome job! Keep up the good work! ptamom - Decided to check the forum prior to starting the Barbeque and I am glad I did. Thanks, once again for the great tagalogue, Tiff. SMKJunkie - Way to go. I was wondering how you were going to do this one, and you did it great! Keep up the good work, I'm really enjoying these. Samhill - Another great job. It's fun to visit these daily posts and see the clever way you have chosen to extend the stories for us. Keep up the good work. Sac12080 - Tiff, I'm really enjoying these tagalogues. You are one heck of a writer! You've done a great job in capturing the characters and the sweetness of the show. Silver'Vette - Oh, my gosh! You say you struggled and yet turned out a first-rate, number one tagalogue (again)! I need to tell you how much I appreciate your efforts -- these have become my daily must-reads. tiggrpal94 - HEY! I loved it! I've never read any of your tagalouges but I'm going to keep reading them now! I loved the "pleading silently with those hazel eyes of his for her to pick up on his plan to foil their captors." Beautiful. lbcdawn - I was ROTFLOL! Too perfect. I can see her rambling like that. You did such a fabulous job with her character. Brings us back to The First Time and Lee's, "Is that how your mind works?" Like he would ever really get it. Great job! Mort - SMKJunkie took the words right out of my mouth! I was really anxious to see what you were going to do with this one ... SUPERB as usual! You and katie (continuity queen) make quite a pair! We nominate you for reunion movie writers! katie - Girl, if this one is what you call a struggle then you must be very talented. You seemed to do very well with the "thought" tagalogue. You write so true to the characters I'd swear you were one of the original writers. You are very gifted. Please keep it up! GearJamGranny - Tiff, I would have loved to have someone as talented as you in my creative writing classes! If the above is struggling, I'd like to see what you can do when the thoughts just roll out of your head! These are FABULOUS! Thanks for sharing them! matahari2 - "pleading silently with those hazel eyes of his for her to pick up on his plan to foil their captors" <-- Perfect! That one little non-verbal exchange between them was the first time their "connection" showed itself, at least to me. I loved it that he didn't have to say a word and she knew *exactly* what he needed her to do. I have to agree with the others, Tiff. You're doing a great job writing Lee & Amanda's thoughts! Keep it up! tvgirl - (SIGH) Yet another great tagalogue, Tiff! Love how she just can't get herself to call umm...what's-his-name? LOL! Do I sense a hint of jealousy from Lee, who's not even able to say his name? Fine with me. Don't you think Dean could take a hint by now? I mean, wake up! She's late for every dinner, not home when he calls, and usually doesn't call him back when he says to. Actually, I think Dotty has a better relationship with him, telling him about all of her "darkest moments". He's history! Go Amanda! O.K., so maybe I'm a little harsh ... but it's true! lena_hope - Well, "There Goes The Neighborhood." I hear once you go spy, you never go back, and apparently from your tagalogue, Tiff, Amanda proves just that. Poor Dean, probably sitting by the phone waiting for that phone call from Amanda. I could just see him picking up the phone to make sure it is still working! LOL! Hey, I don't see Dean popping up at her window. No wonder she wants Lee! I would too! It holds that romance from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, "What light from yonder window breaks, it is Amanda in her kitchen thinking of Lee!" Great one Tiff! Thanks! Billy_Melrose - AH! Tiff, you rule, and if you stop writing these, I will shrivel up and die. You wouldn't want to be responsible for that, would you? After only having read about 4 of your tagalogues, I am COMPLETELY addicted. Keep them coming! You're amazing! I love how totally true-to-character they are. You've really, really got a handle on this. I don't read much fanfic because a lot of it just doesn't connect, but your tags are so psychologically true, and your style perfectly explains what's going on, without overdoing it. Please, PLEASE write as many of these as you feel you can (no pressure--if you're busy, don't stress--but I LOVE them!). arlington - Have got to throw my vote in with the others and let you know that I've been enjoying all of these. Was determined not to read the tagalogues for the early episodes since I couldn't imagine how these would be approached and was worried I might be disappointed. However knowing how good your Season 4 tagalogues were I couldn't resist peeking at Season 1. You do such a fantastic job of keeping true to the characters in every way. I can visualize everything as though it really were part of the episode. I know one day soon I won't be able to keep the tagaloues straight from the actual scenes. I hope you are enjoying writing these as much as we are enjoying reading them! Thanks. MusicBox - OH MY GOSH! One of these days, some Hollywood person is gonna stumble upon these and freak! LOL! I reiterate everything previous posters have said--you are awesome! If this is a struggle, well, WOW! I was SO happy to see him pop up at the window! Fav: He'd better be more careful, or he might find himself admitting that he'd actually enjoyed being "married" to Amanda, even if it was just business. Yeah, uh huh! Just wait buddy! Hooked already! LOVED IT TIFF! You go girl! LOL! * * (sigh) To be a fly on the wall in this episode! I absolutely love him popping up in the window. Always will ... Yeah, Amanda, get a hold of yourself, geez. (Shhh ... don't anyone tell her that we all displaced so much water this afternoon we had to refill the hot tub! LOL!) Why can't you get him out of your mind, Amanda? Do you need ANOTHER list? LOL! "Cause I'm sure we could come up with a few reasons! Yeah, uh-huh, Lee likes being a bachelor and loner. Sure he does. Hmm, a habit. Oh, Amanda, you can only hope! I wish my kitchen window wasn't so darn high off the ground. Darn basement ... Dean would have to wait until tomorrow. HAHAHA! Tomorrow, yeah, ok ... I still love the line I mentioned in my first review. Too cute. Such forshadowing. smkukfan - Brilliant again Tiff! I don't know how you do it. Liked that Dean would have to wait until tomorrow too - no wonder he just disappeared. I'm glad you made Lee so uncomfortable/uneasy in Amanda's presence which obviously isn't his "norm" but shows what is to come in the future. Loved it, as usual. Thanks. * * "Get a hold of yourself, Amanda." You too, Di! Sorry, mind wandered as I was distracted by something. Can't imagine what... Way to go Amanda! She's known this guy two weeks and she's already forgotten Dean (sort of)! Why couldn't she get him out of her mind? Just look at him girl! What else is there to say? I LOL at this! I love the daily routine she was following (of course minus the bullet-dodging). Just another day in suburbia. Ohhh, so that's why she turned down the invitation for a drink! I couldn't understand how she could turn him down. I suppose we do have fish face (Don?) to consider. Lee will soon learn how wonderful our favorite housewife is! I love the cut scene. I have it on my audio tape so I can hear it often but hadn't seen it for ages until I found Anke's site. Even thinking about it I may have to pop down to the hot tub ... Lee is SO bad for that shirt scene! Love him for it! (grins) Already wondering about Amanda? It's only episode two. Is it too early to say "HOOKED"? Oh, and I love how he thinks back to that line to Francine about stamina and generosity! Ends up at Amanda's house. What did I just say? Hooked? Nuff said, I think. The actions prove it. LOL! Most of us are sitting in our own cheery kitchens waiting for that tapping on the window sound...Yeah, right. It's NORMAL to be lurking around a garden in the suburbs in the middle of the night JUST to check up on someone? NOT that I'm complaining. Am laughing though - let him squirm! I LOVE that he can never bring himself to say the name of Amanda's boyfriend. I think he did ONCE didn't he? Anyway, Lee, the name is FISH FACE, oh, sorry, no... I mean...erm.... what was it again? Way to go, Amanda - play hard to get! He's already hooked anyway. He's in YOUR backyard right? By accident? I think not. LOVE that Dean would have to wait until tomorrow. Thanks, Tiff! Go to There Goes the Neighborhood - Tagalogue
lbcdawn - Loved the fuzzy Dean ... so true to the show. LOL! Billy_Melrose - "I have my ways." Hee hee! I'm looking forward to the next one! quiltmama - This has become a 'must read' for me everyday. "Thanks" sounds so inadequate. Karthy - Another good one, Tiff! When I worked in the hospital, I wish that I had some good looking guy to look at. tiggrpal94 - Loved it! I am soo hooked on these now! Just want to say thanks for doing them and these are GREAT! randibaby - Aww! Another *sweet* one (Chewy Chubby Bar!) Great Tiff! You've got it girl! Thanks for the daily tagalogues! Nightcrawler - This was great! Definitely in the Top 5! (on my list anyway) Loved Lee's thoughts about being 'married' to Amanda. Careful, Lee. You mustn't let it slip! HeartPendant - Loved it, loved it, loved it! I need to be reading other stuff (related to work) but here I am reading fanfic things...shh, don't tell my boss! I'm waiting for Magic Bus..."im"patiently! barnstormer - I guess I'm probably reading these out of order, but I'm really liking them. I think one of my favorite things about them is how you keep bringing up Dean, yet making him a non-entity. Which he was... AmaLeeLane - I always love it when she unconsciously straightens his tie! So, we're not the only ones who don't have a clear image of Dean? ROFL! Amanda, pretty soon you're going to tell us his legs are just "okay"! Great hint of things to come, Tiff! MyAmanda - Great extension as always. This added so much to the original tag. I just finished watching my video and couldn't wait to read your version of the ending. Now if we can get the other videos to watch and have your tagalogues to go with them, we'll be set for quite awhile. MayBSleepy - Nicely done, as always. Thanks. I love that rule breaking scene. Too funny! Love that you expanded on that. It's way too cute to be buried and ignored. As are too many of the cut scenes. I'm thinking Magic Bus has some wonderful possiblities. Can't wait to see where you take it. smkukfan - "Traitor!" He is such a little boy about this hospital thing. I love it when she grabs his collar (like in the cut scene). Shows she's assertive enough to tackle the 'seasoned professional' and is comfortable enough with him to do so. Is this the first time she fixes his tie? Getting warm just thinking of the possibilities. Mmm, back in the hospital room. hehehe - Dean who? Covering his legs. Did I say it was warm in here? "The only woman you're going to get is me." One day, Lee, it will be MORE than enough! LOVE how he got so quiet with her remark. Aww - did we say he was hooked by now? I think we did! She's already clearing her throat when nervous, huh? (grins) Having her around for the next 3 days? Or maybe even a lifetime? Thanks, Tiff. Enjoyed it. MusicBox - Love it Tiff! It was like being with a jack-in-a-box, never knowing when it's going to spring out. LOL! That's such a great description of him. I love that she just can't seem to conjure up Dean, too! He's outta here! LOL! * * LOVE the classic Amanda ramble! You had me hearing her in my head. This one is perfect! I also love how he looks at her while she's rambling. There's already that expectation that she'll be on *his* side. ROFL at the way she grabbed his collar! Bet THAT got his attention! She's so bold with him sometimes and they're so comfortable with each other -- even when things get awkward. You captured that perfectly in this one! I love that it's only been a few weeks and they're already like this. I have my ways" ... ROFL! Go Amanda! Two can play at that game! Prophetic words when she tells him about the only woman he's going to get? Too cute. All he needs is her ... too bad he didn't realize it sooner! Perhaps having her around for the next three days wouldn't be so bad after all. Hmmm ... seems I've heard that before ... STILL enjoying them, Tiff, and always will. Go to If Thoughts Could Kill - Tagalogue
Spins2 - Tiff, have you written a fanfic for this trip yet? Please, please, please write one! abigfan - I hear a fanfic here ... we have to know what happens on this trip! Hint, hint ... anyone? Good job, Tiff! Karthy - Tiff, great as usual. Do you think that you could do a story about what went on during the trip? I know that you would do a good job. tiggrpal94 - Hey, that was great! Very cute. I love when people pay attention to detail (e.g. - the eyebrow). I still can't raise one of mine. LOL! daizy680 - Oo-ooh, yes, please someone write a fanfic about what happens. Tiff, you are good at writing; you should expand it just this once please! matahari2 - Fantastic, Tiff! You picked up my exact thoughts on their verbal "sparks"! There's definite fanfic material here, with that cross-country trip. Whaddya say? I'm loving these! ScarecrowLover - Great as always, Tiff. You wouldn't happen to have the details on of that trip would you? Hmm ... I guess I can think of something. Just have to remind myself its first season. That's the hardest part of this. Remembering how it was to start with. eeyore - I think that all our great SMK minds are starting to think alike...at the end of this episode today, I found myself thinking that it would have been perfect if Billy had suggested that Amanda tag along to help Lee. After all, Lee had been injured, and I'm sure that driving across the country would have taken its toll. Great job, Tiff! HeartPendant - Another great one. I look forward to each morning for a dose of your tagalogues! I loved this! I loved their sparring! Amanda is so quick with her replies ... keeps Lee on his toes! She's so quick! I loved this whole conversation ... and thanks for making Amanda tag along with Lee to Arizona! Is there a fanfic for this one? I thought there was. lena_hope - Another great tagalogue, Tiff! By the way, I always thought Amanda should go on that trip to Arizona with Lee! I would love to try and write the cross country trip but like you RL won't allow me too! Your tagalogues make each episode all that more worth watching! Thanks for placing them all on your site! Darn that RL, just won't let us have any peace! Thanks for all of this wonderful writing, especially those great smooches! smkukfan - She turned away and muttered under her breath, "I still won't admit that your legs are very nice." Love this stuff, especially when she won't let him get the better of her. Anyone else think Billy is also a HOPEFUL romantic? Way to go, sir, for putting ... and KEEPING ... these two together! What a fan fiction that week would make ... but don't look at me. When I've finished the one I'm working on that's it. Poems are MUCH MUCH easier! Thanks for these, Tiff. You already know I love them! MusicBox - Oh, yeah, you're definitely an undercover screenwriter or something! LOL! Oh, too funny! Perfect, Tiff! I love it. Now, we need to see what happens the next week! You sure got a handle on this first-season banter, Tiff. Great job. There's some great ones coming up. LOL! Short, but sweet! Their banter is wonderful. Best thing about season one besides the humor. And you have both down perfectly. Truth? Now there's the pot calling the kettle black ... talk about not being able to admit the truth! LOL! Come on, Lee. I'm sure you know all about that! Her quick thinking after he caught her mumbling under her breath had me ROTFLOL! That's too cute. Perfect first season. "Didn't think so!" OMGosh, this is *still* my favorite part. I love it. Get used to it, Stetson! She's gonna keep getting the better of you! LOL! And way to go, Billy, for dragging that agreement out of Lee that Amanda handled herself fine and would be a help the next week! I sure would like to see what went on while they were traveling ... Hmmm.
Panda - Very nice! Do you write as a hobby or as a profession? BillyBlueNote - Loved this one. Poor Dean just never stood a chance. MossyMother - Tiff, that's "kinda cute." This is the first one that I've read and I like it. Keep up the good work. cutenose - So cute. The real tags always make me want more and now you are providing it! They are so believable. katie - Muy Bien. This was great. You continue to amaze with your writing. You capture the characters perfectly. Thank you as always. ElioraJoy - Having new things to look for makes it more fun (not that it would take much for me to watch it anyways). So, keep them coming! juditupp - Thank you Tiff, very fun! I like that he came back later. Hint of things to come? Whatever will she do with that bear? Keep up the good work. NotExactly - Great one as always, Tiff. Love the way you have her already asking questions of Lee in order to avoid answering him. It's so true to character. ScarecrowsAngel - I always look for the tagalogues around here first, but I went straight over and got caught up. Beautiful and always so believable as well! Love 'em! AmaLeeLane - I love how you have Lee overhear her talking to the panda in the kitchen! This had just the perfect balance of playful banter and sparks! Great job, as usual. SMK720 - Oh! You can just feel the tension between those two! It would have been something to have a scene in later seasons and see that panda sitting on her bed. Oh well! We can dream, right? eeyore - Great job as always, Tiff! You fixed the only problem with the actual tag from today's episode...Lee wasn't actually in it, just implied. Loved that he caught her talking to the panda! Keep up the good work. abigfan - You and those who write the other tag additions are awesome! You are making this run of shows really fun - really look forward to these! Just wanted to say thanks and let you know your work and time is really appreciated! HeartPendant - Another great one! Who can concentrate on a movie when a handsome spy delivered a large stuff animal to your door step? I for one couldn't! Lee is just so darn cute too! I like stuffed animals...but Lee Stetson is "Not Bad" himself! MayBSleepy - Although things were crazy, I did go read this one. I had to go back through posts to find the site link and everything. I've gotten that obsessed... I mean, I really enjoy them so much. Every day I watch the show, watch all the PAXed scenes and then read your tagalogues to make the perfect show. They really do brighten my day. I loved this one! smkukfan - Dean who? Whoa, Lee! Don't sneak up on me like that! (grins) Way to sure of yourself, Lee, come on Amanda - get him back! I love the throat clearing! And I'm getting a little warm here. "You love being right, and you know it!" Don't you Lee? This is a great tagalogue Tiff - I love that she is able to hold her own against Mr. Arrogant/cocky/show-off! Don't you just love him for that? I like how we get more backstory on the panda. Great! Thanks, Tiff! MusicBox
- Good job Tiff! Love the insight to what was/had been going on between
Lee and Amanda. Watching the show you could see his face when she
remarked about buying her affections. Something was going through
his mind! Poor Dean, he's so clueless! ROFL! And I love that Lee showed
up after Dean left. I think he was there so much more than they showed!
He lurked way more than we or Amanda know! Hmm ... wonder if Jamie
sat between Dean and Amanda at the movie! LOL! I can't imagine concentrating
on a movie while thinking about a handsome spy who is so obviously
*buying* affections! "So, what *are*
you going to do with him?" Lee, would that be the
panda you're talking about ... or someone else? Oooh, Amanda can't
identify the look in Lee's eyes. (jumping up and down waving arms
frantically) Ooh! Ooh! Me! Over here! I can identify it! LOL!
dolphinper - Tiff, I love all your tagalogues. First thing I do in the morning is to check for them. HeartPendant - This was so sweet...I really liked the last sentence! Is that admiration that I hear? GearJamGranny - Awesome Tiff! This is one of my fave tags, and you just managed to make it better! Thanks! MayBSleepy - Great job, again. One of the first things I do in the morning now is to come by and see what you've come up with for the day. Nice way to start the day. Thanks. pimpernel - I don't usually read fanfic because it is too long (and I don't have a lot of time), but I sure enjoy reading your tagalogues. Thanks, and keep up the GREAT writing. BedsideBluebell - I think you captured perfectly what we are already seeing in this season -- Lee has some unknown feelings and he doesn't know quite what to make of them. Jude4247 - I've been reading your tagalogues and I've really enjoyed them. Keep up the great work! You are very talented and I'm glad you are sharing your talents with the rest of us fans. amwilson - This is only the second tagalogue I've read. Great stuff. The episodes never seem to be long enough, do they? This really adds something and keeps the mood. Thanks for sharing, Tiff. randibaby - Man Tiff! I liked this tagalogue! In this episode, you could just feel the tension! I felt they both didn't want to leave while leaning side by side on the windowsill....Can't wait for more! juditupp - I like this one, Tiff. It really maintains the mood of the original tag. I think it's wonderful that we get to see her remembering his comment from the ambulance, even if she isn't sure it was real. abigfan - Tiff, thanks for reminding us where it was posted. You are such a talented writer - you are really right on the mark with their characters. I love that he showed up later. I always thought he probably would have "lurked" around more than Amanda actually knew. Good job as usual. I really look forward to these! smkukfan - Very sweet. Wanted more to happen but know it shouldn't, it's too early for that yet. Well done! It's a little short, but it sure is quality! Mmm, being held in Lee's strong arms. I'm imagining, I'm imagining! Aww. Excuse me? What did he just say? ..... Must've misheard....Did I say awww? That last line is so cool! MusicBox - Right on the money again, Tiff! This is one of my favs ... *He carried me* it just makes me smile everytime. I love it. You did great! Not hard to imagine being held in his arms at all ... most of us do it daily! "Yeah, but not to you." Sounds like his "Okay isn't good enough for you" line. I like this line. And it's only been a few weeks ... Ummm ... something more ... DEFINITELY something more! Short but sweet! But it's definitely a quality over quantity thing here! Go to Service Above and Beyond - Tagalogue
Always Look a Gift Horse in the Mouth MayBSleepy - Loved it! Thanks. Now I'm off to start my busy day with a smile. GearJamGranny - Hurray! Way to go Amanda (scolding mother tone!) I love it, Tiff! kolinsky - I see I'm not the only one to start my day with these. I always enjoy them. Love the "I'm one of us" line coming back again! AmaLeeLane - Perfect start to the day! Thanks, Tiff! Aha! So he really does recognize that she's not just a 'frumpy' housewife! Love how she calls him on his bad manners. cutenose - Sure love your tagalogues. I'm no literary critic but I know when I read something good. Your tagalogues really could have (should have) been part of the real show. Scarecrow2001 - I love that tag. I always think that there should be explanation and I like reading about what they are thinking about the whole affair thing. Thanks for a another great one, Tiff. eeyore - Great job as always, Tiff. I'm definitely looking forward to your fanfic. But, alas, it must wait until tomorrow night. I have an early morning tomorrow, and I don't want to try and read it in a hurry. smkukfan - Glad to see you managed to include the "I'm one of us" line - I love that line and how Lee knows he's going to regret it. You used it wonderfully! * * Caught ya, Scarecrow. Don't want to give too much away now, she'll think you actually like her..."And that's just for starters!" LOL! - gotta love her. I just love Lee and Amanda banter - this is so funny. Oops, Amanda, don't slip now! Great stuff, Tiff - love this last line. He so needs someone to keep him on his toes, and Amanda is the housewife to do it -- thank goodness! MusicBox - Oh, this is a great start to my day! Love the manners discussion and her getting him with her "I'm one of us" line! I love it! Forgot how much I enjoyed this one the first time! I love this. You know he thought about pursuing something with her more than once in those early weeks. Look at his lifestyle! LOL! But then he decided it wasn't worth risking his heart and her friendship ... Cute! It just kills him that she doesn't swoon and melt all over him like every other woman ... LOL! Love how she gets the best of him. Not many can. Another *quality vs. quantity*! Very sweet, Tiff. Thanks! Jude4247 - Another great job, Tiff. It never ceases to amaze me how right on I feel you are with the characters. I love the fact that Amanda confronts Lee about his manners. It always bugs me in this episode how he is kinda rude to Amanda, telling her to not look at him while they talk and even the way he acts towards Amanda when she first goes to the party. Them talking about Lee's manners in your story makes me think of one of my favorite lines in the next episode Saved By the Bells, when Amanda says after answering Lee's phone and having someone hang up on her, "His friends are ruder than he is." LOL I'm sure some of Lee's rudeness came from the fact that he didn't want to admit that Amanda was starting to mean something to him. Oh, the ways we try to cover our true feelings. randibaby - Love the silver bullet! liketoknow - I can't believe how well you have these characters down. Great job, Tiff! Billy_Melrose - That "Bozo/Pretzel" part was classic Amanda. I heard KJ in my head as I read it. You rock. ptamom - Great tagalogue as usual, Tiff. I was not thrilled with the original tag, and always felt it needed Lee. SMKJunkie - Another great story! Thanks for the link to your web page, I have it bookmarked now. Looking forward to reading more and rereading others. matahari2 - Loved it, Tiff! Once again, you're right on the money. Lee's silver bullet line is one of my faves, and it's so cute the way you used it in your tagalogue! abigfan - I am constantly amazed at how well you continue these story lines - they are so exactly on target. I especially liked the tie-in with the silver bullet at the end. Have you considered writing a reunion story? I would love to see what you would come up with! katie - Let me again tell you what an incredible writer I think you are. The way you capture the essence of the show is amazing, and on a continual basis is no small feat. I look forward to your work on each episode. Thanks for making the forum and SMK fun again. cutenose - Doggone it. Could you please produce that and stick it on the end of the episode? If we didn't notice Lee's double fighting in the last one, or that the jeep kept switching, or the paper towels kept moving positions, surely no one would notice that BB and KJ are a bit older in the tag! (grins) This would have been a great ending and it still stays within the scope of their relationship at this point. BedsideBluebell - A Lee-less tag! Ug! How could they? I mean, Lee waited around for Amanda to get the Panda; surely he could have waited around to make sure Pretzel the Clown showed up! And you did that, Tiff. Another tagalogue that hit right on the mark. I agree that this one was a turning point for our duo (especially Lee). While as Victoria Greenwich Lee was concerned about her getting hurt by doing her job for the agency -- this episode Lee was mortified that HE was going to be responsible for Amandas death. A rude awakening for Mr. Four Black Books -- but an awakening we are all glad to see happen and develop. smkukfan - Sorry to be repetitive but I also loved the silver bullet reference - it was great in the episode and it's used brilliantly here. "Do you ever go off duty?" Apparently not, as well we know. Give as good as you get, girl! Can't you believe he would risk his job for you, Amanda? Well considering his attitude up until now ... you're obviously getting through. Getting a little EMOTIONAL aren't we Lee? Aww, love it. Lee's hooked! And he thought he needed to go to Bermuda to meet women! How the bit about the silver bullet isn't part of the original show I don't know - I always sit waiting for it and it never comes - not fair! I really love this bit, always have. Well done. Keep them coming! MusicBox - Great Tiff! Love the part about Pretzel/Bozo. So them! You're really doing awesome, Tiff! Like cutenose said, with all the bloopers we overlook, no one would even notice if you produced one of these endings and BB and KJ were older! LOL! I'm as excited for these tagalogues as I am for the actual episodes! "Don't you have anything better to do than hang around my house and spy? Do you ever go off duty?" LOL! I can hear her voice saying this. Love it. ((scraping chin up off the keyboard)) Is that a ... compliment? LOL! I really like this tagalogue. Someone said they saw this episode as a turning point in their relationship. I totally agree. And you extended it so well. I love how Amanda realized he was opening himself up without saying a word, that he was totally contradicting himself when it came to her. I love how complimentary he was to her. The whole thing is just so sweet. A major turning point. Jude4247 - Another one that brought a smile to my face. Great job, Tiff. I absolutely loved that Lee calls Pretzel, Bozo. Just shows how really out of touch he is where kids are concerned. Although, I always loved the fact in the episode that Lee threatened Pretzel so that he would show up for Jamie. Had to also love how Lee and Amanda talk about the Agency not wanting to make the switch and get Amanda back. The "saving each other's lives" bit. I'm glad you have Lee admitting that to Amanda, because in the episode, Amanda doesn't even realize that he's gone against orders until Francine tells her. As many have already mentioned, the silver bullet was a great ending to your tagalogue. Made me smile! You've got the characterization of the SMK characters down so well. Keep up the great work!
