Season Four - tagaloguesComments Leave a comment - Please list episode name and codename (if you have one) Season One | Season Two | Season Three | Season Four Back to SMK Main FanFic page spydiva - Write on, hope*ful* romantic sister! ele - Good line about the conditions of Lee proposing. Amanda would tease him like that. RadJeanie - How beautiful. It fits the mood brilliantly. I wish I had your talent. Keep up the good work. bbfan - Wow! I've been waiting for this one. This was great. The banter between them is perfect. Thanks again, Tiff! AYL4ever - That was just beautiful, Tiff. I can believe every word in that tagalogue. It is one of my very favorite episodes of SMK. 'Vette36 - Oh, that was good! I loved this episode so much I could hardly sleep all night because I wanted to read the tagalogue! Liz - What a wonderful conversation (complete with kisses). Love it as always. Yay, Tiff! Thanks. Looks like Lee is having his own Confession Friday! Spins2 - Thanks, Tiff, I couldn't wait to read your tagalogue today especially since Nightcrawler is one of my favorite episodes. You didn't disappoint! JediGirlie2006 - I love it Tiff! It's so romantic! I really love the twist about the engagement ring being Lee's mother's ring. That was so sweet! Another job well done! lena_hope - Thank you, Tiff. You took a sweet episode and made it all that much sweeter! I know that in Lee's arms would be where I would want to spend the rest of my life! LOL! Great job as always! By the way, love the gruff and husky voice! Oh, and the mother's ring idea was awesome! chplady - One of my favorite episodes. Nothing Like Lee Stetson and a marriage proposal to help get you over the flu. LOL! Watched it 10 times. Great tagalogue, Tiff (as usual). "Got any more of that zap gas?" ROTFL! Gee, I want some of that too (of course could use Lee also!). Nice touch with it being his mother's engagement ring. Dolphinper - I know exactly how Amanda felt in the beginning of this one. My ex-husband proposed to me unexpectly at DisneyWorld and I spent the day wondering if he really asked me. Late that night, he gave me the engagement ring under the fireworks. Very romantic, too bad the marriage wasn't more like that. I loved how you capture their emotions. Thanks! ScarecrowLover - Wonderful Tiff! Being at home on summer vacation, it's wonderful to be able to read your tagalogues in the morning. "Have I told you how much I love you?" I have a CD of Babylon-5 quotes and I was just listening to Season 5. There's one where John says that to Delenn, and I was expecting Amanda to say, "Yes, but you may repeat it for as long as you like." NotExactly - I'm a new kid on the block. Although I've been reading these messages for a few weeks, I've just now figured out how to put in my own two cents' worth. Tiff, I love your tagalogues, and could hardly wait to read the one for Nightcrawler. I have no Internet at home, so I have to keep inventing excuses to go to the library and use theirs, but it has certainly been worth it! katie - I like being one of the first to see it. It's like getting a present early and being able to open it. Another great job on the Nightcrawler tagalogue. I really liked how you kept it silent for the first few paragraphs after the known parts (from the actual episode). It made for a great transition and continued the heightened emotion of the moment. Their discussion about each person's advancement in the relationship was also well written (like you couldn't write well) and so true to canon. Thanks again. SMK720 - "Hey. Is the thought of marrying me that bad?" ... "No, I'm just so happy. I never thought I could be this happy."... "Well, that goes double for me!" *Sniff* *BLUBBER-BLUBBER-BLUBBER* Me too! Good thing I don't have any appointments today; I don't believe anyone outside of this forum would understand why I'm all red-eyed over our two favs FINALLY getting engaged! Great episode, great tag, great tagalogue. I love it! Just absolutely love it! Great job with the wordless tag, wonderful descriptions! Thanks! HeartPendant - Oh, WOW! This one takes the cake! What an awesome tagalogue! I have to agree. I'm so happy. I can't stop smiling. People are wondering why I have this silly grin on my face. There are so many scenes that I love in this. I loved it when Lee toasted himself for finally realizing what was just so obvious! ...he toasted. "And to me finally realizing that everything I ever wanted and needed is found in you." I loved the fact that Lee gave Amanda his mother's engagement ring...that's just so romantic! Thank you Tiff, for making this so special! MayBSleepy - Thanks, Tiff. Perfect, as always. When I think that you've written 88 (well, I guess only 86 with the Christmas episodes missing, but we'll all agree on a whole bunch!), I'm amazed. Thanks for brightening our days and expanding on our wonderful SMK universe with your great tagalogues. I've enjoyed every one (even when I haven't left comments - real life and all that, you know.) I do always find time to read them and have only had to read a couple late. The forum tried to keep me from it this morning, but I just hopped on over to your site and read it there. Ha! I will not be deterred from my tagaglogue reading! Any "fillers" next? Hint, hint! I hope so! smkukfan - Brilliant as always. Especially: Slowly, she raised her eyes to meet his gaze and saw all of the love she felt for him reflected in the hazel pools, compelling her to get lost in their depths. Wow! "Is the thought of marrying me that bad?" he teased with a loving smile. I love how he says this! I also love Lee's own 'ramble', well that's not really the right word - his outpouring of emotion is probably nearer the mark, explaining to Amanda how he got to where he is. Especially about pointing out her bad choice of dates. I love this stuff Tiff. The circumstances for the proposal is cute. Ya think? Perhaps I should consider it then - sounds like fun. At least, in the company of a certain secret agent! I know, I know, get in line, and I'm WAY WAY out at the back - as always! Lee's loss! Like how Lee acknowledges the Mr. Melrose knows even if he doesn't know that he definitely knows but just suspects that he may know that he knows (haven't we been here before Tiff? - just kidding). Of course, Billy knows, and he loves it too! Hey, he was the one insisted on playing Cupid after all. So, to summarize, this tagalogue is incredible ... again. MusicBox - Wow, this one is great! A no-dialogue tag has got to be pretty challenging! But you did an awesome job with it! The description of the original tag is great, again. Right on. It works SO WELL! I love it. The whole tag, tagalogue included. You've captured exactly how I thought Amanda would react here. Wonderful! "Is the thought of marrying me that bad?" Oh! (sniff) That's way too sweet. (the whole part before that!) OMGosh! ROFL! I love that banter about resistance! He's going to get some surprises once they're married! LOL! *There's a lot he doesn't know about her*! LOL! Hold on while I get my ice water! (jumping up and down) Ooh, ooh, I'll take the hand! This is too cute. Hmmm ... he noticed that about Leslie, huh? LOL! Love her comments back to him, too, asking how long he'd been thinking about it. And tying it in to your last tagalogue with him telling her they'd always be together. Awesome. Definitely worth staying up for! Everything worked very well; it was a more serious situation for a more serious episode. The teasing is just enough to keep it upbeat, but still them and not ruin the mood. Ok, NOW I can go to bed! LOL! I know I usually read them in the morning but how much I enjoy this episode, I just couldn't wait! Go to Nightcrawler - Tagalogue
cutenose - I'm a *they waited.* This was a wonderful tagalogue. randibaby - Nice tagalogue, Tiff! I think they waited! Liked the romance--keep 'em comin'! juditupp - I LOVE the tagalogue and think that they wait. My 10-year-old is dying to read it and I can let her. Thanks! BillyBlueNote - Great tagalogue! I love the ongoing, wait or not, debate. Now there's a poll idea ... Did they or didn't they? Spins2 - Another good one, Tiff. I'm glad I'm reading this before I take my shower this morning. It's definitely going to be a COLD one! Karthy - Thanks, Tiff. I know I always write that, but you really do finish up the tags. Have you ever thought about writing what happens at Pine Top? AYL4Ever - I loved your tagalogue. Wow! I also want to add that I liked your take of how Lee is sensitive. The story shows how perfect Amanda and Lee are for each other. cubscoutlady - Oh la la! I think I'm just gonna head right over to my parents and take a nice cold swim in their pool! Something just came over me and I'm feeling a little warm. (grins) mdmom
- I always thought they did go for it before they got married! Hey
what do I know? It's great we can all have our own opinions and still
be friends. I did enjoy your tagalogue and how you leave it up to
us to decide. Keep 'em coming, please. HeartPendant - Tiff, just like the SMK episodes, reading your tagalogues get better and better the 2nd, 3rd, 4th time, etc. around! I just can't get enough of these...I'm glad that you've archived them on your website, and happy to see those who've linked your site or put your tagalogues on their website! Thank you! So, so great! GearJamGranny - Tiff, I had a feeling I would need to get into the hot tub BEFORE I even started reading this one! I was right. Woohoo, Amanda, I don't think I'd be able to stop him either. Um, I'm going to stop my commentary now, before I get myself into real trouble! MB, bring any unused ice with you, and stop by 7-eleven to pick up some more on your way, 'kay? Jude4247 - I was forewarned that this tagalogue was going to require some ice water. As soon as I finished reading this tagalogue, my computer AND my fan momentarily flicked off and then back on. LOL! How appropriate, huh? Too much of a power surge from all the steam that was billowing out of my computer screen and the fan was on overload trying to cool me down. What a "scorcher" this one is in the romance department. Whew! lena_hope - Another great tagalogue, Tiff! Phew, there for a while I needed some ice! Loved the playfulness and the cuddling, *sigh*, or should I say snuggling, double *sigh*! I also liked the tiger pounce at the end, and Amanda's, "Ohhh!" I thought that was cute! As usual, you did a wonderful job continuing this episode and making it all that more wonderful. So, like Amanda, I had to ramble on about it! Thanks so much, Tiff!! You always make my SMK days all that more SMacKy! needtoknow - Wow Tiff, you certainly added a lot to this one, not that I am complaining. (sigh) Now let's see, it's been a while since I read this one. You added a whole conversation in the middle. I think at the end, you added a little more of their feelings. Great! Thanks for this. Now that you are done and I HAD read them all, I was going to try and break my NEED for these every day. LOL! Now if you're going to change them, I am going to have to give that up. (sigh) Oh well. Thanks for keeping our interest. ele - I'm one who feels that they waited and I enjoyed your tagalogue. Good job. Keep writing them! "I reserved two instead of one. ..." You're absolutely right. If you listen when he tells Amanda they are going to Pinetop ... "I changed the reservationS" ... plural. You are proving that there can be romance without throwing them in the sack before they are married. I am delighted to have folks such as yourself, writing the romance with the "sweetness and innocence" that I associate with the show. Keep it up! ElioraJoy - I enjoyed your tagalogue, Tiff. I'm with Amanda and Lee not doing it, but in the last couple of episodes, they've almost made you think they could have. First Pine Top and then Lee's wanting to go to Crump's Cabin. Maybe the writers wanted it that way. So people could make it the way if they wanted it, just like you have them. If they wanted something more they could tune into "Moonlighting." (or soap operas). I'll get off my soapbox now. It's a good thing we're headed for the snow, so we can cool off. Great tagalogue. I know there are fanfics that deal with the PineTop weekend, but can't remember if they stay in canon or not (at least where you have them in the relationship.) So Lee, is the skiing good or not? Was there any other snow under that 18 inches of fresh powder? (grins) Dolpinper - Tiff, I love your writing. I like how you keep the characters with the feeling of the show. I have read some fanfics where they "jump in the sack" and I don't like them as much. I feel that those fanfics don't stay in character. A little romance is a lot better than gratuitous sex! I am not good about getting back to you on your tagalogues because I usually print them out and read them at the gym or at work. It is a good thing too. At the gym, people think I am hot and bothered from the workout, and at work, I sit under an air conditioning vent and I am usually cold. These warm me right up to the point of having to take my sweater off. Now comments. I really think Amanda would wait until the honeymoon (which is why she was so impatient with the maid when they get to that point). Love the way Lee apologizes. He knows how important this is to Amanda. Thank you! MusicBox - Hey Tiff! LOVE the tagalogue! You did an awesome job! In my mind they waited. HELLO! Excuse me for a moment, please, while I go get a bag of ice from 7-Eleven ... Ok, I'm back! First off, I know EXACTLY what you added. Excellent additions! Ok, WOW! The original was great ... this is incredible! We started right out in the hot tub! Excuse me, need more ice. LOVE IT, LOVE IT! The robe mention was a really cute reference. "Sure you don't want to change your mind about this weekend?" he whispered, his voice husky and suggestive. Yeah, Amanda, are you SURE? LOL! Holy hot tubs, Tiff! I like how you used the "I've got you" again, too. Very cute how Amanda picked up and turned around the conversation. (sigh) This is way too sweet. Blew my diet to bits! Thank you for leaving it up to us to decide. I give it a 'sigh' rating of 9! LOL! Thanks, Tiff, for the wonderful diversion today ... I needed it. smkukfan - Gotta agree with MB too. Holy hot tubs, Tiff! Didn't think much of this episode, but this TOTALLY makes up for it. THANK YOU! Wait a minute, Tiff, this has only just started and I'm at work trying to look nonchalant. What state am I going to be in by the end? As usual, I love how you bring in the moments from other episodes ... I still remember Amanda's reaction to the 'she' robe. But, 'awww' to Lee's comment. Do men like this REALLY exist though? I'm sure this can be confirmed, not that I'd ever find one! Guess you have to look first! "Gee, I hadn't noticed!" he teased. Nice to see Lee getting his own back! Love how she brings up about them sharing a room before ... heck they could always call for a rollaway bed, couldn't they? Or Lee could go and sleep in a closet? LOL! I'm also glad you bring up how/why Billy just moves straight past Amanda being at Lee's ... he doesn't say anything, and this covers that. Well, this is too much (or not enough!). Phew! I like that we're not getting explicit here, even though I'm sure they 'see action' (I'm so refined) at Pine Top ... JMHO. Whether it happens or not, I don't necessarily want to see ALL the gory details. Back to the point: Loved it, Tiff. Oh, and I am now off to put my head in the ice box part of the office refrigerator. I've been in there so much lately my face has 'Frigidaire' etched onto it (backwards of course). Go to Billy's Lost Weekend - Tagalogue
cubscoutlady - Holy Hannah! Where is the fire extinguisher? Kelley - Cold drinks? What about a cold shower? Keep 'em coming! ForeverSMK - Wow! Hot! So hot! Very, very good, though! I love it! MusicBox - See, I TOLD you everyone would see them! LOL! Another great one, Tiff! Dolpinper - I think this is great. I love how you capture the characters emotions and actions. ptamom - These are dangerous to read after having a martini. I need a glass of very cold water now. Whaki4SMaKi - Tiff, you really should warn us to get a cold drink before reading these. Super job! You are my hero! SMK720 - Okay, now where is that fan? Who knew such a simple little report could generate so much heat? Thank you, Tiff! Karthy - Tiff, another great one! Anymore room on the wall for another fly? I promise I won't make a sound. Tried flying up there yesterday, but Mrs. M. almost caught me! Not Exactly - Your tags are so great that I just want them to go on and on and on! Have you written any complete fanfic stories? I'd love to read them if so. Keep up the great work! justlikescarecrow - As much as I have loved all of your tagalogues so far, Tiff, these "newly improved" second versions are even better yet! Lovin' em, lovin' em! Keep them coming. MyAmanda - Just got back into town. I definitely wasn't ready for the last two tagalogues! I love the edited versions thus far. Keep up the great additions. I think I'll go take a dip in my pool now. needtoknow - Tiff, these are so much better than what you had originally written (not that it wasn't good) but I find myself looking forward to the old ones to see how you have improved them. Thanks! eeyore - Loved the entire tagalogue...but I especially enjoyed the part where Amanda sees Lee's reaction to her teasing. It has a most definite Lee & Amanda-banter quality. Keep up the good work! HeartPendant - To borrow those three infamous words..."OH MY GOSH!" I shouldn't have had that hot coffee in the morning...maybe I should have had an iced coffee...my heart is pumping, goosebumps on my skin, but I'm so HOT and bothered from reading your tagalogue! It so great! I agree...please give us a warning label, such as "take a cold shower" or "vave ice handy" or something! Thoroughly enjoyed it! lena_hope - Wowsa!! Turn on the air, bring me an ice cold drink! This one really turned up the heat! I am starting to think, Tiff, that maybe I should save reading the tagalogues for winter, then I could save some money on the gas bill. LOL! "The typed report can wait." My sentiments exactly, way to go Amanda! Great job, Tiff! These tagalogues really make each episode all that more special and definitely make them all that more SMacKy! Thanks a bunch for all of your hard work. I know that I am not the only one who feels like this, but I sure do appreciate it! What would we do with out our Smooch Writer? Never mind, don't answer that. I don't even want to think about it. LOL! smkukfan - As if writing a report would ever be on Lee's mind. In four seasons, even before the 'relationship' with Amanda began, he NEVER had his mind on writing reports. That's why hers are so much better, she's been doing his for so long. Glad he's not alone in wanting to do something other than report writing. I can relate. Billy appeared to struggle to keep a smile from his face and nodded. "All right, but as soon as the two of you are finished, I want you down in my office, pronto. Yeah, right, THIS is a guy who has no idea what is going on! Nope, this is not clueless Dotty we're talking about, but he goes along with it anyway. He is so cool. Amanda was certain a silent look had passed between Billy and Francine, but she honestly didn't care. The only thing she cared about right now was Lee. Way to go Amanda! Just goes to prove this relationship goes both ways (which we know, but it's nice to see it here too). Lee is definitely learning! Nice move on locking the door! Wow! Phew! or Sigh! - pick any/all of the above! Hang on a minute, just getting some ice ... Back now, to continue: Is it possible to be in love with a fictional character from 15 years ago? Sorry, asking COMPLETELY the wrong people THAT question! I can SO see the scene right after Amanda steps away from Lee play out in my head, Tiff. I can see him just gaping as Amanda gets the upper hand (love her too!) He SO isn't used to being treated this way ... and he loves it! Really made my day, Tiff. I'm just sorry I wasn't able to read it until the ride home from work. I'll try harder with the next ones! Go to Photo Finish - Tagalogue
Nightcrawler - *sniff* It took a lot of strength to keep from crying! That was so sweet! randibaby - LEE DON'T DO IT! Agh! Phew! I feel better now. Thanks for another great tagalogue, Tiff! Dolphinper - Tiff, I think you did a great job capturing the frustration both of them felt with the mystery marriage. Thank you. ForeverSMK - This was a nice explanation and continuation. I always felt the decision was a little quick ... and this helped. Thank you! Gail - I like this ending much better! I always thought Amanda accepted too quickly to the idea of hiding the marriage ... especially since she always hated lying so much. Good job! Heather - Wonderful job on giving us a more in-depth look on the whole Mystery Marriage ides, Tiff! The romance (I am an absolute romance junkie!) very beautifully done all around! MyAmanda - This showed the true emotions both characters felt. GREAT JOB! Too bad we didn't get to see the marriage become public. Oh well, that is what fanfic is for right? Thanks! smkcrazy - Loved your tagalogue, as usual. The whole idea of the mystery marriage has always irked me, but you did a great job having Lee and Amanda not give up on the idea that some day they could be a family. justlikescarecrow - Excellent as usual, Tiff! You have such a wonderful way with words. You make the emotions in your tagalogues really come alive. We are so lucky to have you and your talents among our SMaKy family. 'Vette36 - I loved this one! Nothing like sweetness. I for one, think the mystery marriage is fine. Lee's got a point: a public wedding could be dangerous for their family, so mysteries seem safer. GearJamGranny - Um, Tiff, only the original writers are supposed to frustrate us with untimely interruptions! What are you thinking? LOL! Great, as usual. Thanks for all of the hard work we know you put into just the tagalogues. katie - Great job as always. I liked how it was Amanda reasurring Lee and being the grounding force in their decision. Shows how much he trusts her in this relationship. Also like how you bring in the other episodes, the reference to him getting that desk job. Thanks again. SMK720 - Never a fan of the "Mystery Marriage", you have at least made it understandable, from their point of view. The emotion was definately lacking in this episode, and you did a great (wonderful) job of filling it all in for us. Thank you , as always. It makes me want to SMacK them upside their heads ... mystery marriage, indeed! cubscoutlady - You did such a good job making us feel just as frustrated as Lee and Amanda do! We've been waiting so long to see them together and happy and now not only does it have to be a secret but they can't even live together like the 'normal' people that Lee longs to be! I HATE that! Would you consider writing season 5 for us? LOL! needtoknow - Tiff, once again you have done a wonderful job. I think the reason everyone hates the mystery marriage is because we all know where Lee spends his free time....with Amanda or with her family. If the baddies know that, they're going to know something is going on, so Lee needs to be there (with his family) to protect them. Just my two cents. Chris - I love these tagalogues. They give so much more closure to the eps. Alas the eps had a finite time and they were not really made for only the romantics under us. Your extra reasons for having the marriage a secret are much needed. Even if I still think it is a stupid idea, it makes more sense now. It was a nice touch to bring Lee's parents into this. Even if he was very young at the time, little kids feel it when their parents are troubled. Great job. lena_hope - I am a die hard romantic and SMK fan. However, I am thinking if spies can find stuff out so easily, I am sure they could find out that they were married. Oh well, at least they are getting married. Well here are my sentiments about your tagalogue! Wonderful job as usual! You truly clarified the need for the mystery marriage, and added that bit of emotion that we we're all missing! I am telling you, Tiff, my SMK day isn't complete until I read your tagalogue! Thanks a bunch! smkukfan - WHY OH WHY OH WHY OH WHY? (Sorry, Tiff, I know its not you.) I like the way this is playing out. I don't like it the mystery marriage idea, but I think the way you write it comes across as very real and true to character. I also think, as an audience, we'd totally agree with their frustration. This da*&ed secret marriage! Amanda heard the hurt in his voice. She ached to reach out and touch him, hold him, do something to comfort him and share his pain. So get on with it then, woman! Whats stopping you? ... Ah, okay then! Love the bit about Lee telling Amanda how things changed in his life when he met her. Very astute! followed by an aww as he explains how hes changed ... shes changed him. She's caused him to change. I think he'd leave the field he had to, but he doesn't want to, and she wouldn't want him to. Heck, she doesn't even want to give it up herself. So, they both decide to make sacrifices. Well I liked it; albeit I didn't like it. I mean, I hate the mystery marriage idea as a concept, I understand it as a plot device, and I love the way you've dealt with it here. We're stuck with it, it is what happens in SMKland so therefore your tagalogues are a great place to put meat on the bones, so to speak. To more fully reason out the necessity. Thanks for the insight here. You are, as always, true to character (in my eyes anyway) so, for now, I'm going to have to go along with Lee and Amanda's decision. Darn it. "Nothing could keep me away!" Apparently so! I guess I can settle for having you. I loved the chest swat during Leather Kittens and I love it now! ... Good save, Stetson! Before those darned kids had to go and interrupt! MusicBox - NO! NO! NO! DON'T DO IT! (sigh) No one ever listens to me! Stupid, pointless, no-good, incredibly frustrating, totally ridiculous, bad excuse for a plan, mystery marriage! EVERYONE knows you're involved, Scarecrow! Might as well, enjoy it! Geesh! ... You're awesome Tiff! Where were you 20 years ago? While that scene in the 'Vette came close ... real close ... they never went any further with it. With as excited as Lee was when the show started I really needed more to show me how his mind was changed so drastically, so quickly ... You've done an awesome job with Lee's emotions and frustration (surprise, surprise!) You've made my heart ache even more (if that's possible) for Lee and everything he's gone through. Him working the reasons and frustrations out is really great. Poor guy! I think the reason *I* hate the stupid mystery marraige is because we never get to see it come to an end ... see it resolved. It's wonderful to read in fanfic but to have it actually happen on film would have made it much better. Your reasons here continuing from the episode are really good. I don't love what it represents but I love what you did with the situation! You hit the nail right on the head with Lee's confession about what he always wanted but never thought he could have! (sigh) I can see their reasons and concerns and although I don't think it would have lasted long, I think it would have worked really well if they'd have been able to have one more season. AHH! If I can't have everything I want, I guess I can settle for having you. ROFL! He gets her every time! LOL! You're really good at interruptions! ... Geesh! Could they have one moment of privacy? LOL! Is that too much to ask for a little kiss without an interruption? This one is awesome too, Tiff. You're really in tune with them and their emotions and feelings. You've done an excellent job on a subject that most of us here hate! LOL! You've made it a bit more mearable and believeable. I still hate it but your tagalogue is awesome! Thank you for the romance! Didn't see hardly enough of it. Go to The Man Who Died Twice - Tagalogue
liz15862004 - Oh, Tiff! Couldn't you have kept it going? It was just getting good! ele - Why don't you post these at fanfiction.net? Stories can be as short or as long as you want. ptamom - This tagalogue finished the episode nicely. I think I am going to have a glass of ice water now! ElioraJoy - Thanks so much for making this episode better. Aside from that clothes sorting scene, I was pretty bored by it. Liz - Thanks, Tiff. I knew that Lee & Amanda had a great conversation after Charlie left for his phone call! Yep, gettin' steamy. npicklegrl - Oh my gosh! That's great! I kept reading about all these "tagalogue" things and had no clue what they were. I'm very impressed! Spyz'nTraining - Kathy and I just got back from the ballgame and ran to the computer to read the tagalogue. Love them all! You do such a great job! Catie - Wow! Only wish you could have been around to write these for the show twenty years ago! Would have been great. Anxiously awaiting your next tagalogue! Janelle - I can't tell you have much I've enjoyed reading your tagalogues. The episodes always seem to end just a little bit too soon. I hope you get that full-length fiction out soon. Nightcrawler - Tiff, I think I need some of that icewater! That was so great! It certainly made up for the tag at the end of the episode. Oh no, Amanda! Lee is catching on! I just love these, Tiff! Whaki4SMaKi - What do you mean Amanda isn't innnocent? Well, that just ruined my whole perception of her. Great one, Tiff. Thanks for adding what the writers seemed to have forgotten. MyAmanda - Another great job, Tiff! Thanks for adding to a very dull tag. Now it's getting hard to distinquish between what really happened and what you have created for us to make us very happy campers! HeartPendant - The original tag wasn't so great...but you've filled in the gaps so well! Things are a little luke warm these days, but your tagalogue sure is HOT and what Lee and Amanda should be feeling and acting towards each other! lena_hope - Well, now that's what I call a happy ending! I would love to interrogate that hunk of a man! You go Amanda! I liked the way old Charlie told them congratulations! Yet, as usual, you took this episode and made it all the better with your tagalogue, Tiff! I know I say it all the time, but you really do make each episode better. They sure make my day all that more SMacKy! Thanks for all of your hard work and SMK dedication! katie - Great job, as usual. You capture their playfulness so well. How do you do that? It's too cute when she teases him, the way she uses her nature, womanly wiles; it always gets him and she knows it. The scene in the bar after Charlie leaves and she agrees easily to having secrets is perfect. The other thing I love about your writing is how well you describe the little non-verbals. The eyes-speak, the hand-squeezing, the what he/she does to the other with a look, etc. Amazing. The scene best depicted in that manner here is when Charlie catches Lee's silent look that Amanda needs reassurance that they are not that obvious. With just a few glances Charlie understands, amends and Lee thanks him. All very well described. The question still remains... are they that obvious? Yes. Are they satisfied with Charlie's answer? Yes. They are too much into the game to realize, but in time... Nice work. Thanks! MusicBox - Oh ... My ... Gosh ... (picking chin up off the computer desk) Um, wow, Tiff! Got any ice water? Now, had they filmed *that*, I'd have worn out the tape by now. You really captured them perfectly in this one! KUDOS! What an awesome tagalogue! (sigh) * * Love the Stemwinder reference! Uh yeah, that ice water, please? Thanks. Ok! Lee's too funny here! I can see him so well being smug about being right when Amanda couldn't come up with a reason why he shouldn't be sure of himself regarding their relationship! LOL! It's gotta make Amanda feel pretty good. That she is *the one*. And for others to notice. He grabbed her hand and held it still on his leg. Despite how innocent she may pretend to be, Lee knew otherwise. She may have others fooled, but the way she acted around him had him convinced that she knew exactly what she was doing. ROFL! The stamina and generosity of the American housewife ... LOL! The banter about cleaning not being what Lee had in mind is just too cute! This was a well-needed dose of romance! I like your reference to the cut scene, too. That is one of the worst cut jobs ever! These last few episodes are where we really rely on you, Tiff!! Thanks for coming through so well! smkukfan - In case I forget ... thanks for this, Tiff. Didn't get a chance to read at work (so no head in the freezer today!) but did read it on the train. Face in attempted neutral, starting to fail at the mention of Amanda trying hard not to show how Lee's touch was affecting her. I love it when she keeps bringing up his secrets - she knows how hooked he is and isn't threatened by his past, which is soo cool. ROTFLOL! They were caught by Charlie! Well, d'uh! Hence the slight drawback of the mystery marriage that EVERYONE they meet knows about. Except maybe Dotty, and I think she's just in denial! I love the bit where they both have two different answers to how long they've been involved. I would copy the hand on the thigh bits here to comment but for some reason, I can't press the buttons on my laptop - every time I go to press them they burn my fingers. Must be the heat coming out of my computer right about now. Forget the hot tub, I'm sticking my head in a fire hydrant! Can I take my laptop into a cold shower? Have to see! Their banter about cleaning was fantastic! Sorry, am I going a bit over the top? If I am, I apologize, but I REALLY MEAN IT! And to finish off, 'awwwww' on the ending. Too sweet. SMKLisa - Great tagalogue, Tiff. All of them are! Thank you for a great Christmas present. Ashley - Very cute and romantic story, Tiff. I enjoyed the descriptions and the warmth. Thanks for sharing. LWolf - Thanks Tiff. I have really enjoyed your tagalogues. I hope you will write more stories. You have a lot of talent and they are fun to read. Thanks again. ele - Thanks, Tiff. I'm glad you were able to finish all of the episodes. That's one big job. Well done and thank you for sharing them all with us! sharr54 - Hurray! I've been wondering when you might have this one posted. The whole collection is great and I'm looking forward to this reading the last installment. squeaky - Thanks for takeing the time to write all the wonderful tagalogues. I look forward to the last three days of The Eyes Have It. I really do want to tell you how much I have enjoyed all of them. BBisBest - Thanks Tiff, you did a wonderful job. I consider it an early Christmas present. You certainly have put a LOT of work into your tagalogues ... all 88 of them. You are such a special lady and certainly a valued member of our SMK family. SMK720 - Welcome back, Tiff! Congrats on the completed collection of 88 tagalogues ... that's quite an accomplishment! Just repeat these words several times. . .Wonderful! Love it! Great job! Christmas blessings being sent your way and best wishes for the New Year! Chris
- Awww, this was so nice. It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling all around.
Although Christmas is gone I still have fun reading this. This was
so well rounded that I can't pick anything as standing out Jean - You fixed that fourth season Christmas episode which I always found strange. The loving family touch seemed to be absent often in that season. I have decided that it's the season I like least in the series and I know many disagee. You captured the family feel with the boys and Dotty really well. I would like to think that Lee was quickly drawn in to the spirit of Christmas being involved with Amanda and her family. I have enjoyed your tagalogues and the tender, gentle touch you try to add. I am not a fan of the darker, troubling side that many seem to write and enjoy. RL gives me all I can handle and while I am sure Lee and Amanda had many serious challenges I think they were more than able to meet and overcome them. Thanks for the writing you do and especially for this Christmas contribution. eman - This hit my mailbox as I was leaving work on Friday ... just getting back to it. I like the setup of the opening scene. Amanda pinning Lee with an intent gaze and her line, "Then, why were you examining everything with the kind of scrutiny you give a suspect you're interrogating?" is good. I like this. "I was just admiring the way you have the house decorated. It's been a long time since I've been a part of a household that actually celebrates Christmas. I'd almost forgotten what it's like." Isn't *that* the truth! The way Amanda stopped Lee from feeling like he dragged her into helping him. Very her! Nice how Lee enjoys the feeling of having Amanda's family know she considered him someone special in her life. I really like the description of the red stealing into Amanda's cheeks at her aunt's honesty. ... Very good that you captured the comfortableness of Joe and Amanda's relationship ... Lee grinned. "So, you *still* think I'm impossible to get in the mood?" LOL! Cute story, Tiff! smkukfan - Great tagalogue! To paraphrase Francince, "When are they anything but?" Loved it, and can I just say, "It's about time!" I'll try and do a proper 'smkukfan' feedback thing over the weekend ... bet ya can't wait! (grins) Thanks for interrupting RL to get #88 done, Tiff. Some of us have been waiting, *im*patiently... Now, here's the feedback, such as it is ... I know the feeling expressed by Amanda about Christmas, well without the KGB obviously. :-) She's not the only one who's glad they're not stuck somewhere unable to get home! I really like Lee's reaction when Dotty comes back into the room. It's real. Hed do the pulling back thing with Dotty there and Amandas now decided to bite the bullet and go with the Amandas boyfriends here line! Once and for all. "Handsome!" Definitely! Smart guy! Wheedle your way in with the old folks and youve got it made, huh? Great to see indignant & embarrassed Amanda! "Hes a keeper, dear!" Id keep him in fact can I? Oh, go on, please its not like anyone else wants him, right? An early Christmas prezzie for Di? LOL! ... Aww, poor baby, jealous at the closeness shared between Amanda and Joe. "Look! You two are standing under the mistletoe!" Predictable! Im happy to say. Good old Aunt Lillian! I'm also with her. We're waiting for Lee and Amanda to kiss! :-) Like Phillip says, "It's about time!" Way to go, Philip! I think I like Dottys sister too! Funny line about making Lillian speechless! ... Aww, great work, as usual Tiff. Really enjoyed seeing a new one after all this time. Dont know when you find the time! Hope you have a great Christmas and the New Year brings you what you want from it. Miriam
- Tiff, I think you perfectly captured the feeling one has from Lee
about Christmas in the King household in your story! I appreciated
the many well-handled details from "Santa's Got a Brand MusicBox
- YAY! LOL! Although I am tremendously happy to see this, I'm also
a bit saddened to realize there will be no more tagalogues. LOL! Love
the way Amanda pins Lee with an intent gaze. Caught ya, Stetson! The
way she stops his pity party with telling him she wanted to help.
How totally Amanda. Oooh, the crossing the heart and promising. (sigh)
Enough with the *covert operations*, geesh! LOL! I love this. Too
bad we didn't get THIS in the episode. Gotta love the way Amanda restrains
Lee from moving away from her when Dotty comes back into the living
room. Great set up for them being together more and more with the
family, and Lee having to get used to it. But with that twist of him
wanting the family to know how she feels about him. ... "Handsome!"
LOL! Lil and Dotty actually agree on something? Quite a feat, I'd
imagine! LOL! Of course, I totally agree too. "Ooh,
